What is a sex doll?

How are the dolls delivered?

Our dolls sex dolls are delivered with DHL, PostNord, UPS or Schenker, depending on the postal location. Normal delivery time is 2 - 4 working days for items that we have at home in stock.

For sex dolls that we do not have in stock or dolls with a customized look, the doll needs to be manufactured in the factory in connection with the order. Normal production time for TPE dolls is around 1 week and for silicone dolls around 3 weeks. Delivery time from manufacturers in China is normally around 3-5 weeks.

The doll is carefully and discreetly packed in a large cardboard box. The doll's brand and our store name are not visible on the packaging.

It is of course also possible to buy a doll on site with us in Borlänge (Sweden) or order one doll to us and pick it up after it has been delivered. It is common that customers for various reasons cannot receive a delivery to their home and therefore need to have the doll delivered to another location.

We have free shipping on all items in our store!

Any customs fee (only applies to orders shipped from factory in China) is always included in the price of the doll. With the delivery method we use, the customs fee is paid in advance. You as a customer do not have to worry about customs duty or any other hidden unexpected cost. For countries outside the EU and US however, customs charges may apply (for example for Norway, Switzerland and the UK).

How do I pay?

You can pay with VISA, Mastercard and American Express via Stripe's payment exchange as Docklandet.se uses for card payments. The money is reserved in your bank account when you complete your order and then deducted from the account when the product is delivered.

You can also pay by Klarna's payment solutions "Pay later" or "Split". NOTE! Currently out of order, Klarna does not allow dolls under 148 cm. We will never exclude these dolls from our store.

We also offer PayPal as a payment solution for those who prefer it.

Are the dolls as pretty as in the pictures?

Absolutely! Many dolls are even more beautiful in real life. For us at Docklandet it is very important that you as a customer get the right idea of the item before ordering. We do not use product images with "too much editing" and we never, ever use inaccurate or misleading product images (which is unfortunately quite common in this industry).

In our factory pictures section you can see pictures of naked unstyled dolls made for us or for our customers. We also have many pictures of dolls from our showrooms.

If you wish to see more pictures of a sex doll we can always photograph or film the ones we have at home in stock. We also have manufacturers' own factory pictures available for most dolls in our range.

Do you always have SALE?

In short, yes! All dolls in our range are at the lowest possible price set by the manufacturer. Neither we nor any other shop can have lower prices than these.

We also run promotions on different brands continuously. Many brands have good deals where, for example, an extra head or upgrades are included. However, this does not apply to all doll brands.

Our prices are always at the lowest price allowed by the brand/manufacturer. The regular price of the dolls is based either on the prices the brand has in its own store or what the doll could cost in a regular sex toy store.

We also have some special deals unique to our store. With some dolls, several upgrades are included as standard (these add-ons cost extra in other stores). For the popular brand WM-Doll an extra head is always included when you shop by Docklandet.

Difference on sex doll and Real Doll?

Real doll is another term for sex doll. In Sweden, many sex toy shops call their dolls Real doll. Real Doll is the same thing as a sex doll.

Real doll is a common term in many countries, especially in Sweden and the rest of Europe. We have chosen not to use that word very much in our store, for two different reasons.

Firstrst first of all, we are a Swedish store and we want to use Swedish words and expressions as often as possible. Secondly, we are Real Doll is actually its own brand, i.e. a doll brand and not just a name. Real Doll is American and one of the few doll manufacturers based outside China. All our dolls at Docklandet can be called "real doll's" but they are of course not of the American brand Real Doll.

A doll of the brand Real Doll costs around 130,000 SEK, has a production time of more than 1 year and is also not easy to import from the USA. These dolls are only sold in the factory's own store mainly to American customers. However, we can proudly say that our silicone dolls from, for example Tayu, Real Lady, FanReal or Zelex is of equal (sometimes even better) quality to American Real Doll. At a fraction of the price they charge. Feel free to ask us more about this if you are unsure about different brands and pricing / price ranges.

Incidentally, the fact is real doll a pretty good name for these nice realistic dolls, but unfortunately the Swedish translation does not sound "real doll" does not sound as good. The name "sex doll" which we use mainly for these dolls, is unfortunately quite misleading as these dolls are also used for much more than sex.

Things to consider before buying

This is an exclusive premium product and a relatively expensive one. Our sex dolls cost anywhere from SEK 5000 to up to SEK 30,000 normally. We also have dolls in the price range all the way up to SEK 60,000. Generally speaking silicone-dolls are more expensive than TPE dolls and the size of the doll has a pretty big impact on the price. 

A sex doll are designed and manufactured in several stages, partly by hand, and the manufacturing process normally takes 1-3 weeks depending on the material, model and make. All dolls are made in factories in China and delivery time from there to the EU is at least 1 month. But we also have many dolls at home in our own warehouses. 

Unfortunately, there are many rogue traders who sell sex dolls. It is common for incorrect images to be used for fake dolls that are then sold at an overprice. We have several customers who have reported to us about dolls that they bought from other stores in the belief that they would get what was shown in the product pictures but received a cheap copy instead. 

Of course, there are also many serious players. Almost all major international stores are Chinese (but with English-language websites). If you buy a sex doll directly from an Asian shop, the European or American Consumer Sales Law does not apply and you have no right of withdrawal or return. But of course you have this with Docklandet. We are Swedish, fully established in Sweden and care about our customers and our good reputation. We follow Swedish, European and American consumer laws.
