Here are some tips on how to best care for your doll to keep it clean and fresh, and to maximize its lifespan!

Storing your doll

The doll is delivered in a sturdy cardboard box with padded inside.

This box works great to store the doll in.
The box can of course also be decorated by the creative.

Do not store the doll with too bent joints or in strange positions.
It can damage the doll in the long run when the joints are subjected to constant pressure by being bent for long periods of time. Feel free to store it in the same position as it was in the box!

Do not leave the manikin on or against hard materials for long periods of time, as this may deform the manikin in the long run. Let it rest on a soft surface.

Do not leave the doll in direct sunlight for a long time as this can cause damage and discoloration of the material. When not in use, store it in a dark and cool place, such as a closet or why not the box it came in!

Cleaning of sex doll

Clean the doll before using it for the first time to remove any factory and production residues.

With normal use and care, the manikin does not need to be cleaned very often.
When you want to clean your sex doll we recommend that you use plain water and liquid soap.
Please do not use other types of cleaning agents as this may damage the material. 

Use a cloth with lukewarm water to wipe the doll when cleaning the outside. Then let the doll dry. You can dry it gently by dabbing a cotton towel, but do not use a hair dryer.
After the doll is dry, you can, if you wish, powder it with talcum powder, which gives the skin an extra soft feel; this can also extend its durability. 

Cleaning the vagina, anal and mouth

TPE is a relatively porous material, which means that bacteria can start to grow if the doll is not cleaned properly.
However, if you are clean and maintain normal personal hygiene, your sex doll usually does not need to be cleaned very often.

You can also use a condom to make internal cleaning easier.

Leave the doll on a stool or a chair in the shower when you wash it internally as it will be easier to access. A bathtub also works well, of course.
Place a tight bag or similar over the doll's head if there is a risk of it getting too wet. Dolls with standing feet should not be exposed to water for a long time and should not be bathed. This is because the metal in the foot can become rusty.

To clean inside the sex doll, you can e.g. use a so-called douche (included with the dolls). This is a small pump that you fill with water, insert into the doll and then flush clean. Of course, you can also use a regular shower or hose, but be careful with the pressure so that the inside of the doll does not crack. Make sure it dries properly inside, you can put a towel inside to soak up the last of the water.

Cleaning the head

Separate the head and body and if possible, remove the wig.
Dip a sponge or cotton cloth in warm soapy water and gently dab the sex doll's face. Take extra care around the eyes and eyelashes. Wipe gently with a dry, soft, non-scratchy cloth and let the head air dry before putting it back on the body.

The metal skeleton

In addition to TPE or silicone the doll is made of a metal skeleton. Although it is of high quality and very durable, it obviously can't take a lot of abuse. 

Most sex dolls are very flexible, but if they are put under too much strain, there is a risk of damage. When not in use, do not store the doll with bent joints as this can damage the metal skeleton, but bend the body parts back to their original 'resting' positions to prolong durability.

Hair and makeup

Wigs are removable and can be washed with regular shampoo and conditioner, just like regular hair. Comb the wig when it is dry. 

You can use makeup on the doll, but make sure to use makeup that you can wash off with plain water without having to use strong makeup removers, to minimize the risk of damage to the skin.

Lip balm or lip gloss can add a lovely shine to the doll's lips! But be careful using regular lipsticks as they can easily smudge and rub off. 

There are also permanent makeup products that can be used on your sex doll. The most common are lipstick, blush and eye shadow. For more tips on these products, get in touch with us or talk to a makeup or hobby shop. 

Reducing the risk of stains on the sex doll

As TPE is a fairly porous material, stains can occur if you are not careful.

Therefore, do not wear colored clothes that are likely to stain, especially if they have not been washed beforehand. Even dark clothes that are dyed with poor quality dyes can stain if they are in contact with the doll for a longer period of time.

Do not place newspapers either near the doll, these risk staining with ink.
